It’s a pleasure to present the course of the second distance of K3 ULTRA – GOLD BORDER RACE. Its length is 53 km / D + 2690.
The first kilometers will reach to the neighborhood of Memo Gaber. Then runners will split and head towards Beloto Kamene (The White Boulders) sanctuary, near the village of Starsevo.
The following 13 kilometers to Pechinsko Pass are considered of moderate difficulty and effort. For the next 9 km the runners will tread the mountain ridge until descending to the village of Marzyan.
Adrenaline will be high during the alternating sharp descents and steep climbs before reaching Kartala area. The course passes through charming localities – Oloykovo, Kochera, Cold Water, The Wall, The Watermill, Yazmaka, Carais Huts, Padina, Yovkova Chuka and The Portal. Scenic huts and age-old houses are scattered around.
The descent to the village of Alamovtsi will be enjoyable before climbing Peak Rupchevo and Keliovi Huts.
The final again will be in the picturesque town of Zlatograd.
